CEA is a consultancy which
specialises in work on involving local communities in changing, developing
or sustaining their environment and in helping them make the links between
their local problems and bigger national and global issues. CEA also carries
out a range of evaluation work. The clients we have worked for are shown

Recent and Current CEA
work includes:

A major programme for
the London Borough of Waltham Forest
to engage with diverse communities to increase involvement
and participation in recycling. A summary report (Engaging Diverse

A three year evaluation
for Groundwork UK of a major volunteer and mentor development programme.

Work with University College
London on "Mapping Change for Sustainable Communities",
a major new (June 2007) programme to work with local communities using
internet-based mapping systems to record and map environmental information
and change within the Thames Gateway region.

A report on "The
impact of Procurement Policy and Practice on Social Sustainability"
for Defra (March 2006)

A report for the GLA with
London Sustainability Exchange
on the gaps and opportunities existing between the UK Sustainable
Development Strategy and the Various London Plans.
