Community Environment Associates (CEA)
CEA is a consultancy which specialises in work on involving local communities in changing, developing or sustaining their environment and in helping them make the links between their local problems and bigger national and global issues. A range of training events on climate change communications with Climate Outreach Information Network (COIN) and Talk Action – see Training page for more details. Chris Church has also written two reports on climate change.

Co-writing ‘Changing the way we work’ – a guide to green office practices for the Voluntary and Community Sector for the Every Action Counts programme

Training over 150 advisors for the National Lottery ‘Local Food’ programme

Training and advice work for the Big Green Challenge – the programme run by NESAT to identify innovative local action on climate change

A 'Green Office' guide for the Voluntary and Community Sector (for Every Action Counts, in partnership with the Ethical Property Foundation)

Work with University College London on "Mapping Change for Sustainable Communities", a major (June 2007) programme to work with local communities using internet-based mapping systems to record and map environmental information and change within the Thames Gateway region.

Work on a new inter-faith environmental programme for London with the Conservation Foundation and London 21
